High Noon Neon Tour with special guests Luke Combs and Lauren AlainaSep 14 , 2018 DTE Energy Music Theatre
Three-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean announced that he will switch on his headlining “High Noon Neon Tour” this summer. Aldean, along with special guests Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina, will take the energy-charged tour to 34 cities across the country, including DTE Energy Music Theatre on Friday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m.
“We named this tour after a song that’s on my record,” said Aldean. “It reminds me of the bars I grew up playing in Georgia when I was getting started. We’re going to bring some of that raw energy out this summer with Luke and Lauren – I know we’re all ready.”
Aldean’s hard-charging eighth studio album Rearview Town (Broken Bow Records) has earned the #1 position on Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 Album chart. Becoming only the second country act to score four consecutive chart-toppers in history, Aldean draws 183,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release making it the biggest Country debut of 2018.
Aldean's sure-footedness has helped define the genre’s 21st century, which plays into his 19 #1 hits, more than 15 million total album sales and dozens of sold-out stadium shows. Continuing with that momentum, the new music follows Aldean's last three albums that each bowed at #1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and all seven of his previous LPs have achieved Platinum certification or better. Aldean's wide-open approach has made him a perennial live-show favorite for the format as he has headlined the biggest stadiums in the United States where “Aldean and his band rock hard and precise” (Houston Chronicle). River House Artists/Columbia Nashville singer-songwriter, Luke Combs, stormed onto the Country music landscape as “one of the format’s burliest and brightest stars” (Vulture) in 2017 with two consecutive Platinum-certified multi-week #1 hit radio singles, “Hurricane” and “When It Rains It Pours,” from his Gold-certified debut album, This One’s For You. Named Billboard’s Top 100 Artist and Top New Country Artist of 2017, Combs made Country radio history as the first new solo male artist to achieve a multi-week #1 since 2001. The CMA, CMT and iHeartRadio Award nominated road warrior is currently on his sold-out first headlining “Don’t Tempt Me With A Good Time Tour,” has performed on all-star lineups for CMA Music Fest, Bonnaroo & Austin City Limits and joins Jason Aldean on his nationwide tour beginning May 2018. Mercury Nashville’s and this year’s ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year Lauren Alaina released one of Rolling Stone’s Best Albums of the Year and Taste of Country’s Most Empowering Album with 2017’s Road Less Traveled. Praised as “full of life lessons and uplift” (People), the collection of 12 songs all written by the young star includes Lauren’s first #1 hit, title track “Road Less Traveled,” and her current single, “Doin’ Fine,” which was named one of Amazon’s and Sounds Like Nashville’s Top Country Songs of the Year. Lauren is one of Billboard’s Top Country Artists of the Year and she is the only female to land two #1 hits in 2017 with “Road Less Traveled” and “What Ifs,” a collaboration with Kane Brown. The “sassy Southerner with killer pipes” (Parade) has shared the stage with superstars including Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Martina McBride. Lauren recently joined Cole Swindell on the “Reason to Drink Tour.” For more information, visit www.LaurenAlainaOfficial.com.
