Ringo Starr and his 12th All Starr Band, featuring Steve Lukather, Richard Page, Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren and Gregg Bissonette, are bringing their tour to DTE Energy Music Theatre June 27 at 7:30 p.m.

“I love playing with this band,” Ringo said, “and I can’t wait to get back out and play with them again.”

Tickets at $79, $55, $35 and $25 in the pavilion and $15 on the lawn are on sale at Palacenet.com, The Palace Ticket Store and all Ticketmaster locations. Tickets may be also charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 800.745.3000.

Ringo’s musical legacy was celebrated earlier this month when The David Lynch Foundation honored him with the “Lifetime of Peace & Love Award.” The event included a star-studded tribute performing from Ringo’s extensive catalog. He also performed his song “Photograph” at this year’s Grammy Awards and he performed with fellow Beatle Paul McCartney. The two also performed together the next night for the CBS taping of The Beatles Tribute celebrating the 50th anniversary of their first U.S. visit and appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. It will be broadcast on the exact date, Feb. 9.

In Feb. 2014, Simon & Shuster will publish Octopus’s Garden, a children's book based on Ringo’s lyrics. This book comes on the heels of December of last year’s Photograph, the Genesis Publications book. Photograph was first released as an e-book in conjunction with The Grammy Museum exhibit “Ringo: Peace & Love,” a record-breaking exhibit that opened in June 2013. The exhibit, open through March, has had more than 90,000 visitors already and is the first major exhibit to focus on a drummer.

Ringo, who was awarded the French Medal of Honor in September, most recently released Ringo 2012 and the live DVD Ringo at the Ryman last year, in addition to a seven-inch vinyl singles collection, featuring “Photograph,” “It Don’t Come Easy” and “(It’s All Down To) Goodnight Vienna.”
