The Magic of Lights is a spectacular 1.5 mile drive-through holiday lights display featuring various holiday themed light displays using the latest LED technology and digital animations, including the all new drive-through Blizzard Tunnel as well as returning favorites including 12 Days of Christmas, Winter Wonderland and The Night Before Christmas. Families and friends will experience the thrill of Magic of Lights from the comfort and safety of their own cars as they weave through its course. Magic of Lights will open each day at 5 p.m. and run through 10 p.m. Sunday--Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Some exclusions may apply. “Following the outstanding response of over 125,000 guests to this summer’s Jurassic Quest at DTE Energy Music Theatre, 313 Presents is excited to announce the festive Magic of Lights holiday drive-through experience to spread joy and holiday cheer to our community in a safe and engaging way,” said Howard Handler, President of 313 Presents.
Advance weekday passes (Monday -Thursday non-holiday only) are $20 and advance any-day passes (any day of the week including weekends and holidays) are $25 (applicable service fees apply).
EVENT TRAFFIC NOTE: MAGIC OF LIGHTS GUESTS ADVISED TO USE I-75 AND EXIT 89 TO SASHABAW ROAD
Guests attending Magic of Lights are strongly encouraged to use I-75 and Exit 89 for Sashabaw Road. Please follow proper signage to enter the lights display at DTE Energy Music Theatre’s south entrance. Due to the popularity of weekend event times, traffic services may suggest alternative routes, including Pine Knob Road, which is not an entrance and will increase your wait time.
Due to the popularity of the weekend event times, guests are advised to make their weeknights "merry and bright" by attending the holiday light display on Sunday through Thursday. If guests do plan to drive through during the weekend, please be prepared for increased traffic and wait times. We appreciate your patience.
Pre-purchased, Discounted Advance Tickets are recommended and REQUIRED for Friday and Saturday admission. Tickets will no longer be available at the gate on Friday and Saturday. For weeknight events, credit cards will be required for day of purchases and cash will not be accepted.
Special bus and limo pricing are also available. PLEASE NOTE THAT BUSES AND ANY VEHICLES TALLER THAN 12’ OR LONGER THAN 30’ ARE NOT PERMITTED. Each vehicle requires only one pass to be used one time. Passes are on sale now at www.magicoflights.com/events/clarkston

Safety Guidelines
Guest comfort and enjoyment is our top priority. Extra precautionary measures are being taken to provide a clean and safe event. Merchandise will be available for purchase in the line queuing area and all transactions are cashless and touchless. Guests are to remain in vehicles at all times. While there will be restroom access in case of emergency, guests are to remain in vehicles at all times. Masks will be required should a guest need to exit the vehicle. Social distancing rules will be requested of all guests and maintained by event staff, who will be sanitizing equipment and workstations more frequently and thoroughly throughout the entirety of the event. Event staff will be applying hand sanitizer and washing their hands regularly throughout each day, in addition to wearing masks.
Guests must travel through the drive-thru in the comfort of their own vehicle - no rentals or golf carts will be provided and walkers are not allowed. To ensure participant safety, all guests must ride inside their vehicles (yes, pets inside vehicles are allowed), no riders in truck beds, however. Trailers are also not allowed. Oversized vehicles and vehicles with more than nine riders are allowed with a limo/party bus ticket; but please note that buses and any vehicles taller than 12' or longer than 30' are not permitted.
