Leadership

Keith leads operations across the organization, focusing on executing strategies and delivering results through effective governance, performance systems, and collaboration with leaders in Finance, Revenue, Booking, Production, Strategy, Marketing, and Human Resources. Previously SVP of Finance for 313 Presents, Keith has been instrumental in integrating the financial and operational foundation of the multi-venue organization since it's inception.

Prior to joining 313 Presents, Keith spent nearly 20 years in a variety of senior finance roles at Olympia Entertainment, where he provided strategic insight and overall management. He was a member of the executive leadership team and was responsible to lead all areas of finance and accounting, information technology and ticket operations departments.

His professional experience includes sports, entertainment, food services, retail, facilities management, sales and marketing services, and event operations. He was a key member of the teams that opened Comerica Park and oversaw the transition from Joe Louis Arena to Little Caesars Arena. In addition, he has three years of experience with Uptown Entertainment, providing leadership and financial oversight of three movie theatres.

Keith is originally from New York, and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Detroit.

Sarah Zawalski is Senior Vice President of Booking & Industry Relations for 313 Presents, Detroit's premier live entertainment company. Sarah oversees key strategic partnerships with promoters, agents, managers, and artists to deliver the best shows, events, and attractions to our stages.

Inspired by the soul of Detroit, 313 Presents promotes and produces concerts, theatrical productions, sporting events and family shows at six world-class venues across southeast Michigan including Little Caesars Arena, Fox Theatre, Comerica Park, Pine Knob Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre.

Sarah has 25 years of sports and entertainment experience in Detroit. Prior to her current position, Sarah held a variety of roles with Olympia Entertainment from private event sales to arena production.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Language from Michigan State University. She resides in Troy with her husband and two children.

Elmer Straub is the Senior Vice President of Entertainment Production & Operations for 313 Presents, Detroit's premiere live entertainment company. Elmer is responsible for Event Production, Corporate Partnership Sales & Development and Premium Sales & Service teams, creating and maintaining operational excellence and industry-leading business performance across all venues.

Prior to joining 313 Presents, Elmer served as the Senior Vice President of Venue Management for Palace Sports & Entertainment, LLC (PS&E), which included directing the event entertainment operations for PS&E's portfolio of venues: The Palace of Auburn Hills, Pine Knob Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre.

Prior to PS&E, Elmer worked for Tampa Bay Sports and Entertainment LLC, where he served as Vice President of Event Booking for Amalie Arena. Under his leadership, from 2003-2013 Amalie Arena was ranked by Venues Today #9 in the world, #5 in the U.S. and #1 in the Southeast.

A Michigan native, Elmer also opened the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI, where he spent three years with SMG; first in Premium Seating and then with the Events Department.

Elmer is a graduate of Aquinas College, where he earned his B.A. in Communications and completed his Masters of Sports Administration from Central Michigan University. Elmer resides with his wife and their two sons in Oakland, MI.

Kim Klein is the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for 313 Presents, Detroit's premier live entertainment company. Kim's responsibilities include overseeing all marketing and communications operations including brand strategy, digital, database, event marketing and corporate communications initiatives and programs in support of the company's strategic objectives.

Kim has more than 22 years of comprehensive marketing and communications experience in the Detroit market including 14 years with Palace Sports & Entertainment. Most recently, she served as Director of Entertainment Marketing with Olympia Entertainment.

Kim received her Bachelor of Communication Arts & Sciences from Michigan State University. She lives in Beverly Hills with her husband and two daughters.

Scott Newman is the Vice President of Strategy & Growth for 313 Presents, Detroit's premiere live entertainment company. Scott is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives across and beyond the core business to build incremental revenues and enterprise value.

Prior to joining 313 Presents, Scott held various roles in Deloitte Consulting's sports & entertainment practice, specializing in strategy and analytics. His experience primarily focused on helping organizations enhance their digital strategy to better engage fans and capture/share/deploy data. Beyond Deloitte, Scott previously worked with the Team Marketing & Business Operations group at the NBA and supported business development for Seattle Sounders FC.

Scott received a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School and holds a bachelor's from Cornell University. Scott lives in Ann Arbor with his wife.
