General Parking Information

Parking capacities are subject to change based on the size and type of the event. As you approach Little Caesars Arena, there will be highway, street level and variable message signs directing you to parking lot options. To ensure safe and efficient travel throughout Downtown Detroit, please follow the direction of the traffic and parking staff.

Illegal parking on area roadways, medians and hooded meters is prohibited. Violators will be ticketed by local law enforcement and/or towed.

Oversized vehicles are not permitted in Olympia Development lots. It is recommended that ticket holders give themselves plenty of time for arrival to our events. Ticket holders are encouraged to enter the arena early to become familiar with the routes to their seats, restroom locations, concession stands, retail locations, etc.

Parking hours of operation

Parking hours differ based on the individual garage or surface lot, and based on the event.
Parking facilities open a minimum of three hours before the scheduled event and are open two hours after the conclusion of the event.

ADA Information / Accessible Parking

The designated ADA Drop Off / Pick Up location for Little Caesars Arena guests is along the West Fisher Service Drive near Park Street. Guests can enter the building through the Meijer Southwest Entrance, and request wheelchair assistance from our Guest Relations team if needed. Accessible parking spots are also available in the Little Caesars Arena Garage, as well as the surrounding Olympia-owned parking lots. Driving Directions

Accessible Parking

All Olympia Development parking facilities have ADA compliant parking spaces. The accessible spaces in the reserved parking facilities are for use by guests that have the appropriate reserved area parking permit and a state issued license plate or placard. Accessible parking will be added for game days only in Lots 1 and 2, which is accessible from Woodward and Elizabeth. These spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.

Entrances

There are two entrances off Sashabaw Road, just north of I-75. The north drive is at the base of our large DTE Energy marquee. The entrance just south of the marquee is our South Drive and is primarily for VIP & Accessible parking.

Ingress

In anticipation of increased traffic due to construction on Sashabaw Road, the I-75 modernization project and other I-75 road and bridge projects, 313 Presents is strongly advising guests to arrive early for the 2019 Summer Concert Season.

Sashabaw Road is undergoing reconstruction and widening from three to five lanes from I‑75 to just south of Clarkston Road in Independence Twp. Information and updates can be found at: www.rcocweb.org/469/Sashabaw-Road-I-75-to-Clarkston-Road.

Also throughout the duration of the 2019 concert season, I-75 will be under construction from Coolidge Highway to 13 Mile Road as Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) continues its work on the I-75 modernization project (www.modernize75.com).

MDOT is also repairing 21 bridges on I-75 between South Boulevard and Baldwin Road. Both directions of I-75 may be reduced to a single lane on nights and weekends. More information on I‑75 Road and Bridge Repairs can be found here

I-75 traffic can access DTE Energy Music Theatre at exit 89 (Sashabaw Road) from two different ways: First, I-75 traffic can follow Sashabaw Rd. North to either South or North Drives. Second, I-75 traffic can follow Sashabaw Rd. South to Waldon Road, following Waldon Road (East) to Pine Knob Road.

Alternate Routes for traveling to DTE

  • I-75 to Baldwin Road North 4.2 miles to Clarkston Road, Turn West on Clarkston 3 miles to Pine Knob Road, Turn South ¼ mile to DTE Entrance
  • I-75 North (past Sashabaw) to exit 91 M-15. Go South ¼ mile to Clarkson Road, left (East) on Clarkston Road 1.5 miles to Sashabaw Road, turn South on Sashabaw ¼ mile to DTE entrance


​To DTE from Woodward or Telegraph to the South of Pontiac

  • Take Business 24 North from M-59 in Pontiac 1.2 miles, continue North on US 24 Dixie Hwy 2.8 miles to Sashabaw Road, turn North on Sashabaw Road and go 5 miles to the entrance for DTE or
  • Take Business 24 North from M-59 in Pontiac 1.2 miles, continue North on US 24 Dixie Hwy 6 miles to M-15, turn North go 1.3 miles to Clarkston Road, turn East 1.5 miles to Sashabaw Road, turn South on Sashabaw ¼ mile to DTE entrance

Egress

In coordination with local law enforcement, our outgoing traffic management plan is set up to allow the best possible service to all guests. The parking lot is divided into sections and each section will be sent out different exits. There is signage on each egress route that will lead back to I-75. The south drive is not available as an exit.

Parking Lot Policies

The parking lot opens at 4:30 p.m. for most shows or 2 1/2 hours prior to a matinee show. Barbecuing is permitted on paved areas of the lot, no open flames and vehicles must occupy only one spot. Alcohol is not permitted on the lot. No re-admittance to the lot.

No canopy tents, awnings, or camping toilets are allowed in the parking lot.

Parking Fee

Parking fees are included in the ticket price.

Drop-off Procedure

There is no charge to drop off or pick up a guest for an event. Many people utilize our “Parents Park” as a meeting place. Parents and other non-ticket holders may wait for guests in Parents Park during the event. "Parent's Park" is between the East and West entrance gates near light pole 2C.

When picking up after an event, all lanes at the North Drive (near the marquee sign) and our Pine Knob Road gate will be for outbound traffic only. You cannot enter the venue at these locations. The only entrance is the South Drive on Sashabaw Road just south of the main entrance. Once your pickup is complete, exit the parking lot with the rest of the event traffic. You cannot exit from the South Drive where you came in because it is only an inbound lane except for police and EMS vehicles.

Parking Upgrade / VIP Parking

  • Upgrade parking is available on a first come first serve bases at a cost of $25 upon arrival.
  • VIP Parking is included in season royalty memberships only and is not available for purchase.

Accessible Parking

Parking for guests with disabilities is available at the East Entrance. Guests with disabilities are encouraged to enter the venue from the South Drive just south of the marquee, or Pine Knob Road Entrance.

Meadow Brook Amphitheatre

Entrances

The main entrance is on Walton Blvd., 1/4 mile west of Adams Rd. and 3/4 mile east of Squirrel Rd. There is also the east entrance on Adams Rd., 1/4 mile south of Walton Blvd.

Quickest Route In

From I-75, exit at University Drive (exit 79) and head east to Squirrel Rd. Take Squirrel Rd. north to Walton Blvd. and turn right onto Walton. Take Walton east, 3/4 mile to the main entrance.

Ingress

I-75 traffic can access Meadow Brook from exit 79 and following the signs to Oakland University, or by following University Drive to Squirrel Road (North) to Walton Blvd (East).

Egress

Traffic in the main lot will exit both onto Walton Blvd and Adams Rd. VIP Lot will exit to Adams.

Parking Lot Policies

  • The parking lot opens at 4:30 p.m. for most evening shows.

  • Guests are allowed to tailgate/picnic before events.
  • Alcohol is not allowed in the parking lot due to local township ordinances.

Drop-off Procedure

You can drop off and pick up your party just outside of the property on Meadow Brook Rd. Vehicles are not allowed to drive to the Box Office during an event.

Limos and buses need to drop-off and pick up their guests in the VIP Lot

VIP/Accessible Parking

VIP Parking and Accessible Parking can easily be accessed by entering either the Adams Road Entrance or the Main Entrance.

From Adams, turn onto Meadow Brook Road, turn left onto Sunset Lane, then stay to the right for the VIP/Accessible Lot. Follow the provided signage. 

From the Main Entrance, head East on Meadow Brook Road, turn right onto Sunset Lane, then stay to the right for the VIP/ Accessible Lot. Follow the provided signage.

VIP Parking Upgrade

A limited amount of VIP Parking is available for an additional $25

Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill

Due to major road construction projects in Macomb County surrounding Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill, guests attending shows this summer are advised to plan for additional time to get to the venue.

Major construction projects include:

  • Concrete repairs on Metro Parkway at Schoenherr Intersection: Repairs on Metro-Parkway on either side of Schoenherr will result in only one lane open in each direction.
  • Project is scheduled to run until late June.
  • Schoenherr Road Resurfacing: One lane will be open in each direction from 15mile to 16 ½ mile roads and turns will be restricted at various stages. Project is scheduled to run until late August.

Guests are strongly advised to avoid Schoenherr Road for the foreseeable future. Traffic can get to Metro Parkway by using Van Dyke, Utica Rd, Dodge Park, Garfield or any other major north/south artery. Also, due to construction, I-696 is closed from I-94 to Dequindre Rd. There will be increased traffic on all local roads so guests are encouraged to take their time and arrive early.

Entrance

  • The main entrance is located at 14420 Metro Parkway, on the corner of Metro Parkway and Park Access Dr.
  • For general parking, turn right onto Park Access Dr. from Metro Pkwy, and follow straight to lot. 

Parking Lot Policies

  • The parking lot opens at approximately 4:00 pm for most evening shows, or 2 hours prior to the start time for matinees. 
  • Guests are allowed to tailgate/picnic before events.

Parking Fees / Parking Upgrade

  • Parking fees are included in the ticket price. 
  • Limited parking upgrades are available on a first come first serve basis for an additional $25 upon arrival.

VIP Parking

  • VIP Parking is included in all Royal Member tickets. CLICK HERE to learn how to become a Royal Member at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill.   
  • VIP parking is located at the VIP Lot in the northeast corner of the complex. The VIP Lot’s entrance address is 14922 Metro Parkway. 

Accessible Parking

The accessible parking lot is located next to the Freedom Hill Banquet Center. Patrons with disabilities will enter at the main entrance, and follow Park Access Dr., turning at the first left, and then turning right at the Freedom Hill Banquet Center, into the lot.  Parking colleagues will be able to direct guests to the accessible parking area.  

Rideshare

  • Dropoff: Rideshare drop off is in front of the Freedom Hill Banquet Center. Drivers will enter through the main entrance, turning at the first left and dropping off passengers at the flag poles.  
  • Pickup: Rideshare pick up is in the parking lot adjacent to the main entrance, on the corner of Metro Parkway and Park Access Dr.
