Age Requirements

Guests 2 years of age and older are required to have a ticket. Guests under the age of 2 may sit in a ticketed guest’s lap provided they do not obstruct the view of other guests. Age restrictions to attend an event may vary based on events at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre. For more information, please call 313-471-7000.

 

Airports

The Detroit Metropolitan Airport is the closest major airport to Meadow Brook Amphitheatre and is recommended if you are flying in to visit us.

Aisle Policy

To help ensure guest safety and enjoyment of events at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, sitting or standing in the aisles, on the ramps or in the stairways is prohibited. We ask that guests refrain from leaning against rails throughout the venue. Guests will be asked to return to their assigned ticketed seat.

Alcohol

All alcohol purchases must be accompanied by a valid state-issued driver’s license or ID, passport or military ID. You must be 21 years of age to purchase or consume any alcohol. Service of alcoholic beverages is limited to two drinks per person, per purchase. Guests are not permitted to bring in any outside alcoholic beverages, nor are they permitted to leave the venue with alcohol purchased inside any 313 Presents venue. Drink limit and cut-off time will vary depending on the event.

Assisted Listening Devices

Assisted listening devices are available free of charge for guests to use during an event. Please contact the Guest Experience team at GuestExperience@OlyEnt.com prior to arriving at one of our venues to request an assisted listening device to be setup. When arriving at the event, you may pick up the unit at the Guest Services Office. A driver’s license or state ID is required and will be held until the unit is returned.

ATMs

  • Meadow Brook Amphitheatre is a cashless venue.  All points of purchase must be made via credit or debit card only and cash can not be accepted
    • Although, in the event you may need cash for other purposes, there are three ATM's inside the venue that can be found at the following locations:
      • Near the main box office
      • Near the concessions stands located on each side of the stage. 

Audio/Video Recording Devices

Audio/video recording devices are prohibited for all Meadow Brook Amphitheatre events. For questions on specific events, call 313-471-7000.

Auto Assistance

Baby Changing Tables

There are changing tables in the men's and women's VIP Restrooms.

Backstage Access

Meadow Brook Amphitheatre does not distribute or issue backstage passes for any event.

Bag Policy

To uphold health and safety protocols, minimize contact and ensure a more seamless entry process, our venues have adopted a no bag policy.

  • BAGS, PURSES & CLUTCHES LARGER THAN 4" x 6" x 1.5" ARE PROHIBITED.
  • SINGLE COMPARTMENT BAGS, WALLETS & CLUTCHES SMALLER THAN 4" x 6" x 1.5" WITH OR WITHOUT A HANDLE OR STRAP ARE PERMITTED.
  • Exceptions to this policy include:
    • Bags, wallets and clutches needed due to medical necessity. Medical necessity include Diaper bags, Breast pumps, Oxygen, Insulin, Epi-pens and other medical devices.

Banners and Signs

Banners and signs are not allowed.

There are a variety of domestic, craft and international beers available at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre. Please ask an Event Colleague for specifics regarding bar options. Some options are:

Binoculars

Guests are permitted to bring binoculars into Meadow Brook Amphitheatre to enhance their overall experience.

Birthdays

Videoboard messaging is not available at concerts or events. A commemorative certificate can be obtained at the Guest Services Office by the main gate.

Guests are not permitted to bring outside bottles or containers.

  • There is one box office on the Meadow Brook Amphitheatre grounds at the main entrance to the facility.
  • Patrons with walking difficulties may drive to the box office to pick up tickets and then drive to the disabled parking section, if necessary.

Video and sound recording devices, GoPros, tablets and professional cameras (detachable lens) are NOT allowed.

Meadow Brook Amphitheatre is a cashless venue.  All points of purchase must be made via credit or debit card only and cash can not be accepted.

Code of Conduct

Meadow Brook Amphitheatre is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. To provide these types of experiences, we have standards and expectations for all guests and visitors. The Guest Code of Conduct outlines those expectations and policies.

  • Treat everyone with respect and dignity by displaying proper etiquette as outlined below. Guests should refrain from any action that disrupts other guests' enjoyment of the event.
  • Do not engage in any unruly behavior, including obscene gestures, derogatory, vulgar, biased or abusive language directed at guests, venue personnel, artists or anyone else. This includes the use of such language, actions or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage violence, a confrontation or threat of physical harm.
  • Refrain from wearing any clothing or displaying signage/products that contains obscene or indecent messages or signs. Meadow Brook Amphitheatre reserves the right to prohibit anything deemed inappropriate.
  • Do not fight, throw objects or attempt to enter or interfere with the performance area.
  • Consume alcoholic beverages responsibly and avoid intoxication, diminished capacity or impairment by alcohol or drugs. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Sit only in your ticketed seat and show your ticket when asked by venue personnel.
  • Do not exit with the expectation to re-enter the venue after scanning of tickets.
  • Refrain from smoking in non-smoking areas.

Guests must comply with reasonable requests from venue personnel. Those who refuse may be subject to ejection without refund, revocation of season tickets and possible arrest and/or prosecution. Guests are encouraged to visit either Guest Services Office in the rear of the main Box Office at the main entrance.

Chair Rental

Lawn chairs are available for rent for $10 plus a $5 refundable deposit. Location is on the main walkway between the main gate and the pavilion.

MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted throughout Meadow Brook Amphitheatre.

Damaged Merchandise

  • During an event if comments/compliments/concerns arise, contact an event colleague to resolve the matter.

Diaper Bags

  • Diaper bags smaller than 14" x 14" x 6" are permitted into Meadow Brook Amphitheatre. Upon venue entry, all bags will be inspected.
  • To ensure guest safety, we reserve the right to refuse admittance of any item deemed hazardous or suspicious. Guests will be asked to return all restricted items back to their vehicle.

Dietary Requirements and Restrictions

Gluten-free options include:

  • Nachos - sold at the Shack and Stage Right B Concessions.
  • Popcorn, and snow cones - sold at the FST Concessions
  • All beef hot dogs (not kosher) - sold at the Shack, Stage Right B Concessions, and the FST Concessions

Emergency Situations/Evacuation Procedure

If there is any type of emergency situation that might cause a delay of the event or an evacuation of the venue, please listen for announcements on the PA system. Guests with special needs should contact the nearest Event Colleague for assistance.

Guests at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre are encouraged to take the following steps:

  • Be aware of your location at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre at all times
  • Identify the two exits closest to your seats
  • Listen and watch for instructions from the PA system, or Event Colleagues

In the event of an emergency, 313 Presents ask that all fans act calmly, cooperate with Event Colleagues and are mindful of all guests in their area.

End Times

There is no standard end time for concerts.

Entrances

The Main and VIP entrances are the two entrances into the venue. 

Entry Inspection

  • All guests will be subject to screening upon entry, which includes a walk-through metal detector, handheld wand (if applicable) and bag search (medical and diaper bags only. See bag policy below). This policy is subject to change, based on select events.
  • NO BAG POLICY
    • An updated no-bag policy has been implemented, permitting no bags, backpacks, purses or clutches, other than those required for medical reasons (including diaper bags, breast pumps or other medical necessities), into our venues. Single-compartment items smaller than 4" x 6" x 1.5" are permitted.

Event Seating Policy

  • To ensure all our guests receive the full value of their ticket investment, only those with a ticket for a particular seat can occupy that seat.
  • Our Event Colleagues will be checking tickets to safeguard each guest's investment as a ticketed seat holder.

Family Restrooms

Accessible restrooms are near the VIP entrance. Portable accessible restrooms are available inside the main entrance behind the box office and near the main concession stand.

Fan Mail

313 Presents is unable to accept artist fan mail.

Feedback

First Aid

The First Aid location at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre is near the main concession area near the main entrance. It is only accessible from inside the venue. During events, First Aid is staffed with medical personnel from the time doors open until the event is clear. An advance medical unit will be staffed at each event.

Help

During an event, guests requiring assistance should contact the nearest crowd manager, uniformed police officer, Event Colleague or a representative at the Guest Services Office near the main gate. During non-event times, please call 313-471-7000.

ID

  • United States residents must present a valid state-issued driver’s license, state ID card, passport, Mexican consulate ID or military ID, vertical ID (must not be expired), which indicates the patron to be at least 21 years of age (expired licenses, damaged licenses and driver’s licenses which do not have photos will not be accepted) to purchase alcohol.
  • International visitors must present a valid passport that shows the guest to be at least 21 years of age (expired/ damaged passports or any other form of identification will not be accepted).
  • Passports must be in English to be accepted.

Inclement Weather Policy

  • All events at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre are “Rain or Shine” events. Only in extreme inclement weather are shows cancelled or postponed.

Lost or Missing Individuals

  • If you become separated from your child or family member during an event, please seek the nearest Event Colleague.
  • When bringing children to an event, it is always helpful to make sure the children have their contact information, ticket and seat location with them at all times.
  • 313 Presents suggests that a parent/guardian obtain a Kids ID wristband available at the Guest Services Office in the rear of the main Box Office at the main entrance.

Merchandise

Concert merchandise is available for sale the night of each event located along the walkway leading to the lawn and pavilion.

Media Access

  • All media credential requests for events should be directed to the 313 Presents publicity department at PR@313Presents.com.
  • All requests received by 313 Presents will be forwarded to the tour publicist/band management and are subject to show policies.

Mobile Ticketing

All events at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre use mobile ticketing as the primary method of entry.

  • The Ticketmaster technology allows for convenient online transfer and re-sale of tickets and provides a user-friendly platform for the online management of tickets.
  • Mobile ticketing allows fans to use their smartphone or mobile device as an event ticket, providing access to the venue through a barcode or near proximity technology.
  • Ticket scanning provides quick validation and controls fraudulent, duplicate or invalid tickets from entering Pine Knob Music Theatre.

Seat Numbering

When looking toward the stage, from the center aisle, seat numbers increase toward the outer aisles.

Seating/Tickets

All guests are required to have a ticket for their ticketed area. Guests may be asked to show their tickets for entry into the ticket holder’s specific section.

  • “If You See Something, Say Something™” is a national campaign that raises public awareness of the indicators of terrorism and terrorism-related crime, as well as the importance of reporting suspicious activity.
  • If you see something suspicious, please report it to an Event Colleague.

Sensory Inclusion

Little Caesars Arena, the Fox Theatre, Pine Knob Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre and Comerica Park have partnered with and gained certification with KultureCity, making all events hosted at the venues sensory inclusive.  This initiative promotes an accommodating and positive experience for all guests and fans with sensory needs. Event colleagues are trained by leading medical professionals on how to recognize guests with sensory needs and how to best handle a sensory overload situation.

Sensory bags, equipped with noise canceling headphones, fidget tools, and verbal cue card are available to all guests who may feel overwhelmed by the environment. Strobe cancelling glasses and weighted lap pads are also available. Guests wishing to check out sensory items must sign a waiver and leave a driver’s license or credit card, which will be returned upon receipt of the sensory items in the same condition. Sensory items are available at the nearest Guest Service Office and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are provided free of charge.

Service Animals

  • Service animals are welcome into Meadow Brook Amphitheatre.
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 2010 Regulations define a service animal as “any dog [or miniature horse] that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not service animals for the purposes of this definition." C.F.R. § 35.104 and § 36.104 (2010).

Sign Language Interpreters

  • A sign language interpreter can be provided, however, a four-week notice is required before an event.

Smoking Policy

Smoking or the use of tobacco products is prohibited in the pavilion, restrooms, premium areas, locations where food and/or beverages are sold and all indoor areas.

Umbrellas

  • Collapsible umbrellas are allowed in the venue.
  • Golf umbrellas, umbrellas with pointed tips and oversized umbrellas are not permitted.
  • For the comfort and clear viewing of all guests, it is requested that those using umbrellas be considerate of those around them.
  • Guests will be asked to take their umbrella down if it is obstructing the view of other guests.

Wheelchairs

  • Guests are permitted to bring their own wheelchairs and other powered mobility devices to Meadow Brook Amphitheatre.
  • Wheelchairs are available at each entrance for transportation to and from the seating areas.
  • Upon arena entry, please ask an event colleague for wheelchair assistance and they will be happy to help you.
  • Wheelchairs are not available for individual use during events. Please be aware that wheelchairs are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, during periods of heavy volume, guests may be asked to wait until a wheelchair becomes available to transport them either to their seats or back to the doors.
  • In the event of a medical emergency in which wheelchair service is required, please contact the nearest staff Meadow Brook Amphitheatre.
