Comerica Park Prohibited Items

• BAGS LARGER THAN 4” X 6” X 1.5” INCLUDING BAGS ASSOCIATED WITH LAPTOPS, TABLETS, iPADS, CAMERAS AND BINOCULARS ARE PROHIBITED.
  Single compartment bags, wallets, clutches, fannie packs, and clear bags smaller than 4" x 6" x 1.5" with or without a handle or strap are permitted.
• Exceptions to this policy include: Bags required for dietary or medical necessity. Medical neccessity includes Diaper bags, Oxygen, Insulin, Epi-pens and other medical devices.  
  Medical or diaper bags must measure smaller than 16” x 16" x 8" 

• Air horns, fog horns, bullhorns, cowbells, bells, horns, kazoos, whistles, vuvuzelas, didgeridoos, and other noisemakers
• Aerosol cans, and items that contain contents under pressure, including hairspray, mace, and pepper spray
• Alcoholic beverages of any kind
• Animals (except approved service animals)
• Apparel including t-shirts, hats, jackets, or other wearables that exhibit words or images that are: (i) vulgar, obscene, profane, or discriminatory in nature; or (ii) intended to incite violence or cause disruption, as determined in our sole and absolute judgement, are prohibited.
• Banners, signs, flags larger than 11" x 17"
  • Banners, signs, and flags may not obstruct the sight lines of other guests, cover up existing signage, exhibit messages that are obscene, offensive, commercial or political in nature, create a disturbance or interfere with the enjoyment of other guests
  • Banners, signs, and flags may not be paraded around the venue or affixed to any permanent structure, pole or stick
• Bags larger than 4" x 6" x 1.5" including bags associated with laptops, tablets, iPads, cameras and binoculars
• Brooms, poles, bats, clubs, hockey sticks, selfie-sticks, frisbees, missile-like objects that can be thrown, balloons, beach balls or other inflatable items
• Bottles, glass, aluminum, or metal containers
• Coolers, hard sided or soft sided (except for religious, dietary or medical necessity)
• Chairs, collapsible or folding/camping type chairs
• Drones and/or Unmanned Aircraft flown inside or outside of the venue, including the surrounding parking areas
• Fireworks or any types of explosives
• Laser pointers and/or any device that could create an optical illusion or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pin wheels
• Marijuana and/or illegal narcotics including accessories or paraphernalia associated with marijuana and/or illegal narcotics use
• Masks (ski masks, balaclavas, costume masks), except those needed for religious or medical reasons, are prohibited, unless expressly requested by the performing artist.
• Outside food and beverage of any kind (except for religious, dietary or medical necessity)
• Guests are permitted to bring in a single bottle of water in a clear, factory-sealed plastic container that is 20 ounces or less. A single, crushable, empty plastic water bottle that is 20 ounces or less is also permitted.
• Poster tubes that are plastic and/or metal
• Professional and/or commercial cameras with interchangeable or detachable lenses larger than eight inches, or other audio/visual recording devices (e.g., GoPro, Google Glass, Spectacles, etc.)
• Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, roller skates, hover boards, bicycles, and/or any wheeled vehicle (wheeled vehicles for ADA are permitted)
• Smoking and the use of smokeless tobacco of any kind is prohibited, including tobacco products, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, cigars, and marijuana
• Spiked bracelets, spiked belts, spiked neck collars, spiked boots, chains long enough to wrap around a neck, sharp pointed rings, or sharp pointed jackets
• Video and/or sound recording devices including tri-pods, mono-pods, GoPro, Google Glass, and eyeglass video recording devices
• Weapons of any kind including firearms, ammunition, pepper spray, mace, brass knuckles, toy or fake weapons, squirt guns and knives of all types and sizes
• Any other item deemed dangerous or inappropriate or otherwise violating the Guest Code of Conduct Policy.

• Baby bottles
• Bags, wallets, clutches, fanny packs and clear bags that are smaller than 4" x 6" x 1.5"
• Basketballs (Little Caesars Arena during basketball events)
• Baseballs (Comerica Park during baseball events)
• Battery operated/rechargeable handheld fans
• Battery operated coats, gloves, and vests

• Bottled water in a single, clear factory-sealed plastic container that is 20 ounces or less. A single empty plastic water bottle is also permitted.
• Cameras without detachable lenses larger than eight inches
• Diaper bags or parenting bags (must be smaller than 16" x 16" x 8")
• Facepaint
• Food that is a single serving for religious, dietary, or medical necessity
• Headphones
• Hockey pucks (Little Caesars Arena during hockey events)
• Laptops, Tablets, and iPads
• Masks may only be worn if expressly requested by the performing artist, but only while sitting in your seat.
• Medical bags required for dietary or medical necessity (must be smaller than 16" x 16" x 8")
• Seat cushions with soft surface, no metal surfaces
• Signs and banners less than 11" x 17" that are not affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic, or any other hard material
• Strollers are allowed in the venue but not in the seating area.
• Radios (small portable radios)
• Wheeled vehicles for ADA necessity
• Umbrellas
  • Umbrellas may not be activated during events, unless there is an event rain delay in progress
  • Umbrellas that obstruct the view of guests may be confiscated

All guests will be subject to screening upon entry, which includes:

• A walk-through metal detector
• Handheld wand (if applicable)
• Bag search (medical and diaper bags only. See bag policy above).
• This policy is subject to change, based on select events.

The venue has a no re-entry policy. Guests who exit the venue will not be permitted to re-enter.

Ilitch Sports + Entertainment is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests. To provide these types of experiences, we have standards and expectations for all guests and visitors. The Guest Code of Conduct outlines those expectations and policies.

• Treat everyone, including opposing fans, with respect and dignity by displaying proper etiquette as outlined below. Guests should refrain from any action that disrupts other guests' enjoyment of the game or event.
• Do not engage in any unruly behavior, including obscene gestures, derogatory, vulgar, biased, or abusive language, including betting related speech and behavior, directed at guests, venue personnel, players, umpires, officials, artists or anyone else. This includes the use of such language, actions or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage violence, a confrontation or threat of physical harm.
• Refrain from wearing any clothing or displaying signage/products that contains obscene or indecent messages or signs. Ilitch Sports + Entertainment reserves the right to prohibit anything deemed inappropriate.
• Do not fight, or throw objects.
