Age Requirements

  • Guests 2 years of age and older are required to have a ticket. Guests under the age of 2 may sit in a ticketed guest’s lap provided they do not obstruct the view of other guests.
  • Age restrictions to attend an event may vary for events at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre.

Airports

The Detroit Metropolitan Airport is the closest major airport to Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre and is recommended if you are flying in to visit us.

Aisle Policy

To help ensure guest safety and enjoyment of events at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, sitting or standing in the aisles, on the ramps or in the stairways is prohibited. We ask that guests refrain from leaning against rails throughout the venue. Guests will be asked to return to their assigned ticketed seat.

Alcohol

  • All alcohol purchases must be accompanied by a valid state-issued driver’s license or ID, passport or military ID.
  • You must be 21 years of age to purchase or consume any alcohol. Service of alcoholic beverages is limited to two drinks per person, per purchase.
  • Guests are not permitted to bring in any outside alcoholic beverages, nor are they permitted to leave the venue with alcohol purchased inside any 313 Presents venue.
  • Drink limit and cut-off time will vary depending on the event.

Assisted Listening Devices

We offer Assisted Listening Devices to any guests that require them. They can be checked out at the Guest Service Kiosk located near the Main Entrance.

ATMs

  • Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre is a cashless venue.  All points of purchase must be made via credit or debit card only and cash can not be accepted
  • Although, in the event you may need cash for other purposes, there is an ATM located inside the MotorCity Casino Hotel VIP Club, as well as on the main concourse.

Audio/Video Recording Devices

Audio/video recording devices are prohibited for all Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre events. For questions on specific events, call 313-471-7000.

Baby Changing Tables

There are changing tables in the men's and women's VIP Restrooms, as well as the men's and women's restrooms within the VIP Concourse.

Backstage Access

Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre does not distribute or issue backstage passes for any event.

Bag Policy

To uphold health and safety protocols, minimize contact and ensure a more seamless entry process, our venues have adopted a no bag policy.

  • BAGS, PURSES & CLUTCHES LARGER THAN 4" x 6" x 1.5" ARE PROHIBITED.
  • SINGLE COMPARTMENT BAGS, WALLETS & CLUTCHES SMALLER THAN 4" x 6" x 1.5" WITH OR WITHOUT A HANDLE OR STRAP ARE PERMITTED.
  • Exceptions to this policy include:
    • Bags, wallets and clutches needed due to medical necessity. Medical necessity include Diaper bags, Breast pumps, Oxygen, Insulin, Epi-pens and other medical devices.

  • There are two box office locations inside Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, The East and West box offices.
  • Will Call is at the East Box Office.

Broken Seats

If your seat breaks at any point during an event, contact the nearest Event Colleague and they will address the situation immediately.

Bus/Limo Drop Off

  • Rideshare/Drop-Off is located at front of the Freedom Hill Banquet Center. Drivers will enter though the main entrance, turning at the first left and can drop off passengers at the flag poles.
  • The Rideshare/Pick-Up area is located at the parking lot adjacent to the main entrance, on the corner of Metro Parkway and Park Access Dr.

Cameras, Video Cameras and Audio Recorders

Video and sound recording devices, GoPros, tablets and professional cameras (detachable lens) are NOT allowed.

Cashless

Michigan Lottery Ampthitheatre is a cashless venue.  All points of purchase must be made via credit or debit card only and cash can not be accepted.

Code of Conduct

Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. To provide these types of experiences, we have standards and expectations for all guests and visitors. The Guest Code of Conduct outlines those expectations and policies.

  • Treat everyone with respect and dignity by displaying proper etiquette as outlined below. Guests should refrain from any action that disrupts other guests' enjoyment of the event.
  • Do not engage in any unruly behavior, including obscene gestures, derogatory, vulgar, biased or abusive language directed at guests, venue personnel, artists or anyone else. This includes the use of such language, actions or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage violence, a confrontation or threat of physical harm.
  • Refrain from wearing any clothing or displaying signage/products that contains obscene or indecent messages or signs. Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre reserves the right to prohibit anything deemed inappropriate • Do not fight, throw objects or attempt to enter or interfere with the performance area.
  • Consume alcoholic beverages responsibly and avoid intoxication, diminished capacity or impairment by alcohol or drugs. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Sit only in your ticketed seat and show your ticket when asked by venue personnel.
  • Do not exit with the expectation to re-enter the venue after scanning of tickets.
  • Refrain from smoking in non-smoking areas.

Guests must comply with reasonable requests from venue personnel. Those who refuse may be subject to ejection without refund, revocation of season tickets and possible arrest and/or prosecution. Guests are encouraged to visit either Guest Services Office inside the main entrance opposite of the box office.

Entrances

The Main and VIP entrances are the two entrances into the venue.

Entry Inspection

All guests will be subject to screening upon entry, which includes a walk-through metal detector, handheld wand (if applicable) and bag search (medical and diaper bags only. See bag policy). This policy is subject to change, based on select events.

Evacuation Procedure

If there is any type of emergency situation that might cause a delay of the event or an evacuation of the venue, please listen for announcements on the PA system. Guests with special needs should contact the nearest Event Colleague for assistance. Guests at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre are encouraged to take the following steps:

  • Be aware of your location at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at all times
  • Identify the two exits closest to your seats
  • Listen and watch for instructions from the PA system, or Event Colleagues

In the event of an emergency, 313 Presents ask that all fans act calmly, cooperate with Event Colleagues and are mindful of all guests in their area.

  • To ensure all our guests receive the full value of their ticket investment, only those with a ticket for a particular seat can occupy that seat.

During an event, guests requiring assistance should contact the nearest crowd manager, uniformed police officer, Event Colleague or a representative at the Guest Services Office near the main gate.

ID

  • United States residents must present a valid state-issued driver’s license, state ID card, passport, Mexican consulate ID or military ID, vertical ID (must not be expired), which indicates the patron to be at least 21 years of age (expired licenses, damaged licenses and driver’s licenses which do not have photos will not be accepted) to purchase alcohol.
  • International visitors must present a valid passport that shows the guest to be at least 21 years of age (expired/ damaged passports or any other form of identification will not be accepted).
  • Passports must be in English to be accepted.

Inclement Weather Policy

All events at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre are “Rain or Shine” events. Only in extreme inclement weather are shows cancelled or postponed. We encourage you to check social media channels and the news section on this website for updates.

Lost or Missing Individuals

  • If you become separated from your child or family member during an event, please seek the nearest Event Colleague.
  • When bringing children to an event, it is always helpful to make sure the children have their contact information, ticket and seat location with them at all times.
  • 313 Presents suggests that a parent/guardian obtain a Kids ID wristband available at Guest Services Office inside the main entrance opposite of the box office.

Merchandise

Concert merchandise is available for sale the night of each event at multiple locations throughout the venue.

Seating/Tickets

All guests are required to have a ticket for their ticketed area. Guests may be asked to show their tickets for entry into the ticket holder’s specific section.

Seat Numbering

When looking toward the stage, as you stand behind a section, seat 1 will be on the right side of the row and the seat numbers increase as you go left. Each row starts with a low number and ends with a high number. The majority of rows at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre begin with an #01.

See Something, Say Something

  • “If You See Something, Say Something™” is a national campaign that raises public awareness of the indicators of terrorism and terrorism-related crime, as well as the importance of reporting suspicious activity.
  • If you see something suspicious, please report it to an Event Colleague.

Sensory Inclusion

Little Caesars Arena, the Fox Theatre, Pine Knob Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre and Comerica Park have partnered with and gained certification with KultureCity, making all events hosted at the venues sensory inclusive. This initiative promotes an accommodating and positive experience for all guests and fans with sensory needs. Event colleagues are trained by leading medical professionals on how to recognize guests with sensory needs and how to best handle a sensory overload situation.

  • Sensory bags, equipped with noise canceling headphones, fidget tools, and verbal cue card are available to all guests who may feel overwhelmed by the environment. Strobe cancelling glasses and weighted lap pads are also available.
  • Guests wishing to check out sensory items must sign a waiver and leave a driver’s license or credit card, which will be returned upon receipt of the sensory items in the same condition.
  • Sensory items are available at the nearest Guest Services Office and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are provided free of charge.

Service Animals

  • Service animals are welcome into Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre.
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 2010 Regulations define a service animal as “any dog [or miniature horse] that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not service animals for the purposes of this definition." C.F.R. § 35.104 and § 36.104 (2010).

Sign Language Interpreters

A sign language interpreter can be provided, however, a four-week notice is required before an event. To request a sign language interpreter, please fill out the form here.

Smoking Policy

Smoking or the use of tobacco products is prohibited in the pavilion, restrooms, premium areas, locations where food and/or beverages are sold and all indoor areas.

Umbrellas

  • Collapsible umbrellas are allowed in the venue. Golf umbrellas, umbrellas with pointed tips and oversized umbrellas are not permitted.
  • For the comfort and clear viewing of all guests, it is requested that those using umbrellas be considerate of those around them.
  • Guests will be asked to take their umbrella down if it is obstructing the view of other guests.

Upgrade Policy

Upgrade policies vary based on the event and the source of the original ticket held. Guests can inquire at the box office if their ticket is eligible for a upgrade when applicable.

Wheelchairs

  • Wheelchairs are available at each entrance for transportation to and from the seating areas.
  • Guests are permitted to bring their own wheelchairs and other powered mobility devices to Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre.
  • Upon arena entry, please ask an event colleague for wheelchair assistance and they will be happy to help you.
    • Guests who require a wheelchair escort can enter any one of our entrances and speak to a Guest Relations colleague. They will escort you to your seat via wheelchair, or to any other location that you need assistance accessing (restroom, concession stand, etc.).
  • Please be aware that wheelchairs are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, during periods of heavy volume, guests may be asked to wait until a wheelchair becomes available to transport them either to their seats or back to the doors.
  • In the event of a medical emergency in which wheelchair service is required, please contact the nearest event colleague.
