Margaritaville Presents Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band
"Keep The Party Going Tour"
Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, the legendary ensemble who backed the iconic Jimmy Buffett in front of audiences around the world for decades, will hit the road this summer on their Keep The Party Going Tour – Presented by Margaritaville celebrating the songs and community that defined a generation of fans. The tour will include a stop at Pine Knob Music Theatre on Saturday, August 1 at 8 p.m. Pine Knob Music Theatre is presented by Proud Partners United Wholesale Mortgage, Trinity Health and Ally.
Led by 10-time CMA winner, Mac McAnally, the 19-date run will bring Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band to venues across the country beginning in July, with stops in major cities including Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Austin, Boston, and more. The tour continues the band’s tradition of delivering singalong-filled summer nights that Buffett made a yearly ritual for Parrotheads everywhere. The Coral Reefer Band will also honor another long-standing tradition of Jimmy’s by continuing to support the charity, Singing for Change, to fund grassroots, local non-traditional community organizations turning good vibes into good deeds. Fans can expect an evening filled with many of the iconic songs that defined Buffett’s career, as well as deep cuts and special insights and stories from the musicians who shared such a deep connection with Jimmy.
The Coral Reefer Band began their journey with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Jimmy Buffett in 1973. While members have changed over the years, most of the band have performed with Jimmy for over 30 years. Together, they have toured the world with more than 40 tours and 30 albums. Not only are they the top-notch, highly regarded band with great solo careers of their own, but also collaborators, co-writing many songs with Jimmy. Sharing lead vocals will be Mac McAnally, Scotty Emerick, Will Kimbrough, Peter Mayer and Nadirah Shakoor. Before Jimmy passed in September of 2023, he asked that everyone “keep the party going” and that’s just what his band continues to do.
