“Antagonist Tour” with special guests Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Homixide Gang and Apollo Red
Genre-defying rapper Playboi Carti has announced his highly anticipated “Antagonist Tour” kicking off this fall. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, will see Carti headlining arenas across the US, including a date at Little Caesars Arena on Friday, October 31 at 7 p.m.
This is Playboi Carti’s first solo headline tour since 2021, where he took several cities by storm in support of his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart Whole Lotta Red including sold out shows at The Forum in LA, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and Red Rocks in Denver.
Earlier this year, Carti secured his second #1 album on the Billboard 200 Chart with his critically acclaimed new album MUSIC which sold over 298,000 album equivalents in its first week – listen here. With over three billion streams worldwide to date, MUSIC is the ninth highest rap album charting debut of all time. The album received 139 million first day streams on Spotify, the highest debut of 2025 so far.
Critical acclaim of the album includes Rolling Stone calling it a “rap-reconfiguring album,” with Billboard crowning Carti as “one of the most distinctive voices in rap,” as well as NME naming him an “untouchable force.” All 30 tracks from the album debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, making Carti the first rapper in history to chart 30 or more songs on the chart, joining Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen as only the third artist in history to ever achieve this incredible feat. Carti delivered a high energy medley performance at this year’s BET Awards, where he was also nominated. He previously performed at The GRAMMY Awards earlier this year with The Weeknd, and they are currently nominated for three MTV VMA’s for their collaboration “Timeless.”
Following the success of MUSIC, Playboi Carti will continue to ignite fans across the country with live performances and unique fan experiences on his headlining arena tour this fall. Opening in Salt Lake City, UT on October 3, the tour will stop in major cities across the country including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, his hometown of Atlanta and more.
Support for the tour includes rappers Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang, which will be their first time hitting the road as an Opium Collective. Over the past few years, these artists have garnered a passionate fan base and widespread critical acclaim. Ken Carson’s most recent studio album More Chaos landed him first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and is the follow up to his now Platinum-certified album A Great Chaos. Destroy Lonely’s breakout success this year includes the release of his highly anticipated debut album, If Looks Could Kill, and in 2024 he returned with LOVE LASTS FOREVER, blending Atlanta-rooted rap with a punk-infused sound. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts and secured a Top 10 spot on the Billboard 200. Homixide Gang, a rap duo from Atlanta, released their highly anticipated debut album, Homixide Lifestyle 2 – a 25-track project that pushes rage rap forward, blending Southern hip-hop influences with a darker, more refined edge. Carson, Lonely, and Homixide Gang have also been touring several major festivals including Bonnaroo, Wireless, Rolling Loud and more. The tour will also have support from artist Apollo Red on all dates.
About Playboi Carti
In just a few short years, rapper Playboi Carti has amassed over 31 billion streams worldwide, with a global appeal that has steadily placed him within the upper echelon of new stars. Carti has been unstoppable since the release of his 2017 single “Magnolia,” as its meteoric rise garnered cosigns from Beyoncé and features on series like Atlanta. His self-titled album has accumulated nearly eight billion streams to date after debuting at number 12 on the Billboard 200 chart where it spent 63 weeks. The following year, Carti dropped his album Die Lit, debuting at Number 3 on the Billboard 200, boasting collaborations like Lil Uzi Vert on “Shoota,” “Poke It Out” with Nicki Minaj, “Love Hurts” with Travis Scott and many more. The album has nearly 9.8 billion global streams to date, and spent a total of 111 weeks on the Billboard 200. In April of 2020, Playboi Carti returned with track “@MEH,” and on Christmas day, he landed his first #1 album on Billboard’s 200 Chart with Whole Lotta Red, which features the likes of Future & Kid Cudi, and has amassed a staggering 8.8 million global streams to date. The album sold 100,000 units and received 160 million global streams within its first week. Whole Lotta Red trended #1 upon its release on Twitter, and tracks from the album held three out of the top 10 trending spots at YouTube including #1 upon release.
Playboi Carti took over 2024 with strong new music releases and stellar performances both domestically and internationally. His collaborations have seen great success including “CARNIVAL” with Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, and Rich the Kid, reaching no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Carti’s collaboration with Travis Scott on their song “FE!N” peaked at number 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100, and the duo performed the track together on Saturday Night Live. Playboi Carti was also featured on “Timeless” with The Weeknd, “I LUV IT” with Camila Cabello, “TYPE SHIT” with Future, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott, and “Popular” with The Weeknd and Madonna.
Now, with the release of his long-awaited 30-track fourth studio album, MUSIC, Carti has once again proven himself to be at the forefront of the industry. With features from Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Skepta, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug and more, the album quickly rose to the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 where it spent a total of three weeks and made its mark as his second #1 album. Garnering 799M global streams worldwide and selling 298K units in its first week in the US, Carti joined Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen to become the third artist, and the first rapper, to ever have 30 tracks debut on the Billboard Hot 100. On the heels of this immense success, Carti then released the deluxe version of the album, MUSIC - SORRY 4 DA WAIT, with four additional new tracks. Following the immense impact of MUSIC, Carti closed out Rolling Loud California with a stellar headlining set where he brought out The Weeknd and Skepta to perform tracks “RATHER LIE,” “Timeless,” and “TOXIC.” With a constant string of hits and impressive performances, Playboi Carti does not miss.
Carti also joined forces with The Weeknd to give fans a surprise performance of “Timeless” at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, and performed hit track “Like Weezy” live at the BET awards. Refusing to give up the momentum, he joined The Weeknd on his After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which he will continue on through September. The pair sold out four nights at SoFi Stadium, and have stops left in Atlanta, Houston and more.

Ken Carson is a breakout Atlanta-born artist who just earned his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with More Chaos, his boldest and most successful project yet. Already named one of the best albums of 2025 by Complex and Genius, the record expands on the world he built with 2023’s Platinum-certified A Great Chaos, home to the Hot 100 hit “overseas” and a fixture on year-end best-of lists from The New York Times, Pitchfork, Billboard, Complex and Rolling Stone. About Destroy Lonely
In an age where it feels like nothing’s shocking anymore, the word “rockstar” is contentious, and punk can be seen as nothing more than an aesthetic to be consumed, Destroy Lonely is reevaluating and redefining all of those things. Born Bobby Sandimanie III, Lonely has quickly risen to prominence with each release he’s shared. His debut album, If Looks Could Kill, made a major impact, hitting No. 1 on Apple Music and amassing nearly 10 million streams on Spotify, following the success of his breakout single “NOSTYLIST,” now certified Gold by the RIAA. His rapid rise earned him “Artist to Watch” honors from Complex, Billboard, BET, Rolling Stone, and more. In 2024, he returned with LOVE LASTS FOREVER, blending Atlanta-rooted rap with a punk-infused sound. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts and secured a Top 10 spot on the Billboard 200. Most recently, he shared his see u soon </3 project on SoundCloud, giving fans a glimpse of what’s next. But Lonely’s influence extends far beyond music. He has collaborated with designer Matthew Williams on an exclusive merch collection, appeared in Marc Jacobs campaigns, designed a custom pair of Bose headphones, and worked alongside artists including Southside, Ken Carson, PinkPantheress, Quavo, and A$AP Nast. His live performances have graced major stages including Lollapalooza, Coachella, Summer Smash, and Rolling Loud, and he’s even walked in VETEMENTS’ show at Paris Fashion Week. Known for pairing bold styles – like wearing an Atlanta fitted cap with black-painted nails – Lonely constantly challenges expectations, both musically and visually. Through his music, he pushes boundaries and invites listeners into his evolving, post-apocalyptic universe, declaring, “It’s not a lifestyle, it’s life.” As he continues to grow as an artist, he remains committed to authenticity, using each project as a deeper exploration of his world.
