David and Meredith Kaplan U-M Men's Basketball Head Coach Dusty May:
“After the thriller we had in Greensboro last season, we look forward to another chance to not only play a high-quality opponent early but to bring it to our backyard this time. Hosting in downtown Detroit at Little Caesars Arena is not only special for us, but it’s special for the community. We look forward to showcasing our program on a big stage and continuing to build momentum early in the season.”
Wake Forest – Steve Forbes returns for a 6th year leading the Demon Deacons after finishing the 2024-2025 season 21-11. With 13 ACC victories – tied for the most in a single season in school history and the second time in four seasons the Deacs have hit that mark – Wake Forest earned its highest regular season finish since the 2008-09 campaign.
Wake Forest Head Coach Steve Forbes:
“Our program is looking forward to the challenge of facing the defending Big Ten Champions in Detroit. Last year’s matchup against Michigan in Greensboro was an exciting game that was decided in the final minute of the contest. I truly appreciate Dusty May and his program for this neutral site series.”
