Meredith Willson, famous for penning The Music Man and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, adapted Miracle on 34th Street The Musical from the classic holiday film of the same name, which opened at the Roxy Theatre in New York City on June 4, 1947. The film starred Edmund Gwenn and Maureen O'Hara.

Miracle on 34th Street the Musical, then titled Here’s Love, opened on Broadway at the Shubert Theatre on Thursday, October 3, 1963, after two previews. and played for 338 performances, closing on July 25, 1964.

Producer Jim Vollertsen of Premier Theater Productions has a long history with this beloved classic, according to Jim, “many years ago we surveyed our audiences at the Kodak Theatre in Rochester for their favorite Christmas shows and we were amazed that so many patrons declared Miracle on 34th Street as their number one choice. This was the catalyst for us to enter into an agreement with Music Theatre International, “MTI,” who granted the rights to produce two regional theatre productions of Miracle on 34th Street.  The first run received such an overwhelming response and rave reviews from the masses, which led us to produce a second sold-out run, which garnered an even stronger audience reaction on the return engagement. Miracle on 34th Street’s unwavering success led to our long-standing desire to take this block buster holiday title across the country for a national tour in the Fall of 2025.

We are very excited to have Antoinette DiPietropolo as our Director/Choreographer who has been working on live events around the world for 25 years. Some of her credits include: Director/Choreographer for the National Tours of Addams Family, Masterchef Live, Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland Got Talent Live, Veggie Tales. Choreographer for the National Tours of THE Cher Show and Fame; Director/Choreographer for Mamma Mia, Nunsense, Jersey Boys, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Choreographer/Associate Director Big Apple Circus 2014, 2015,2017.

As a Christmas family show, we wanted to make the production a very bright and spectacular show, which led us to partner with a design studio that could create a production that would be sure to capture the awe of audience members of all ages. When we saw some of the incredible designs and spectacular special effects ARDA Studio have created, we knew they were the best choice.
