Recording both as Parliament and Funkadelic, George Clinton revolutionized R&B during the 1970s, twisting soul music into funk by adding influences from several late-’60s acid heroes: Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, and Sly Stone. The Parliament/Funkadelic machine ruled black music during the 1970s, capturing over 40 R&B hit singles (including three number ones) and recording three platinum albums.

Clinton has received a Grammy, a Dove (gospel), and an MTV music video awards, and has been recognized by BMI, the NAACP Image Awards, and Motown Alumni Association for lifetime achievement. Clinton’s Parliament/Funkadelic was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

The Dazz Band have 20 hits on Billboard's R & B and Pop charts, including “Let It Whip,” “Joystick,” “Heartbeat,” “Party Right Here,” “Swoop.” They won a Grammy® Award in 1982 for Best Performance by a Group or Duo for “Let It Whip.” In 2014, Bobby Harris and Skip Martin welcomed accomplished vocalist Donny Sykes to the group. The Dazz Band is back in the studio and looking forward to bringing new music to new audiences everywhere in 2018.

The Mary Jane Girls are known for hit R&B songs during the 1980s including “In My House,” “All Night Long,” “Candy Man,” and a cover version of “Walk Like a Man.”

Rose Royce is an American soul and R&B group best known for several hit singles during the 1970s including “Car Wash,” “I Wanna Get Next to You,” “I’m Going Down,” “Wishing on a Star” and “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore.”

Con Funk Shun charted four consecutive Gold and one Platinum album. Their 20 hit singles included eight Top Ten R&B Hits and one #1 R&B smash between 1977 and 1986. Their second LP, Secrets (1977), exploded to Gold status and featured the #1 hit single, “Ffun.”
