*Traffic Advisory* Increased Traffic Due To Road Closures And Several Events In The District Detroit This Weekend

(DETROIT – September 29, 2022) – Due to road closures in metro Detroit and multiple events happening this weekend, guests are encouraged to arrive early and plan accordingly for what will be a busy weekend of sports and entertainment in The District Detroit.

In anticipation of increased traffic due to the events taking place in The District Detroit, guests are encouraged to secure advanced parking online at ParkDistrictDetroit.com. Additionally, the following road closures will affect downtown this weekend:

• I-94 full closure in both directions between I-75 and I-96 between September 29-October 4
• Brush Street closed to vehicles over I-75 through late October
• Triple lane closure on SB I-75 from Clark to Springwells from Friday, September 30 at 9 p.m. to Monday, October 3 at 5 a.m.

Sunday, October 2

• Detroit Pistons Open Practice / Little Caesars Arena / 11 a.m. (Doors open at 10 a.m.)
