(DETROIT – January 20, 2026) – A pioneer across platforms, multiplatinum singer-songwriter, pianist and composer Tori Amos will bring her highly anticipated U.S. summer tour to the Fox Theatre on Friday, August 7 at 8 p.m. with special guest Bartees Strange. Comerica Bank is the exclusive presenting partner of the Fox Theatre.

Today, Tori Amos announced an extensive 35-date U.S. summer tour, making stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, Austin and Philadelphia, as well as a performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The live shows will see Amos joined once again by longtime collaborators Jon Evans (musical director and bass) and Ash Soan (drums), with the addition of three backing singers—Liv Gibson, Deni Hlavinka and Hadley Kennary. Together they will perform songs from In Times of Dragons alongside highlights from across Amos’ illustrious 35-year career, which includes eight GRAMMY nominations and more than 12 million albums sold worldwide. The U.S. run follows her largest European tour in a decade, spanning 17 countries.
The tour will be in support of Amos’ 18th studio album, In Times of Dragons, due out May 1 via Universal/Fontana. Revered for a multifaceted and unifying body of work defined by fearless activism and otherworldly musicianship, the new album continues Amos’ storytelling tradition through a dynamic cast of characters. The collection is described as a powerful journey of resilience and awakening, where the pursuit of freedom collides with forces that seek to control and silence.
Amos shared, “In Times of Dragons is a metaphorical story about the fight for democracy over tyranny, reflecting the current abhorrent, non-accidental burning down of democracy in real time by the ‘dictator-believing lizard demons’ in their usurpation of America.”
The album’s cover artwork was also revealed today, intricately created using a unique vintage photographic process. Photographer Kasia Wozniak worked with direct paper positives using the RA-4 process, shooting everything on a large-format camera. Wozniak explained, “Each photograph was slowly composed, photographed and processed. It felt magical to weave Tori’s work and vision with my own.” Amos added, “To work with Kasia and stylist Karen Binns to bring the story and characters to life was a truly moving experience. Seeing our collaborations come to life will live with me forever.”
With In Times of Dragons, Tori Amos once again brings together the political and the personal in a work that resonates with the urgency of modern times.
