A complete list of wineries, vendors and other components have been announced for the 15th annual Wine & Food Festival presented by Kroger at Meadow Brook Music Festival on Saturday, August 22 from 1 – 9 p.m. and on Sunday, August 23 from 1 – 5:30 p.m.
Tickets at $25 general admission, which will include eight wine or beer samples and a wine glass, are available at Palacenet.com, The Palace Ticket Store and all Ticketmaster locations. Tickets may be also charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 800.745.3000. “Designated Driver” tickets may be purchased for $10 and include two free soft drinks. Discounted general admission tickets at $15 are available at all Kroger store locations through Sunday, August 23.
More than 150 award-winning wines from throughout the state of Michigan and across the globe are showcased in themed varieties in the “Michigan: Love from the Glove!,” “Around The World,” and “Best Buys of the Season” tents. Wineries include Clos du Bois, Imperial, Woodberry Wine, Republic National Distributing Company, Bel Lago Winery, Carmela, E&J Gallo Winery, Vintage Winery, Fieldstone Winery, Veritas Winery, Dizzy Daisy Winery, Warner Vineyards, St. Julian, West View Orchards, Seven Lakes Vineyard and Superior Lakes. The festival’s on-site retail tent will have select wines available for purchase by the bottle or case.
Michigan made craft beer selections will make their debut at this year’s festival. Bell's Brewery, Dark Horse Brewing Company, Arbor Brewing Company, New Holland Brewing, Founders Brewing Co., Arcadia Brewing Company, Mountain Town Brewing Company, Keweenaw Brewing Company, Brewery Vivant, Motor City Brewing Works, Atwater Brewery and Rochester Mills Beer Company will have a selection of craft beers on hand to choose from.
Oenophiles or casual wine connoisseurs can also attend wine and food seminars through the weekend at the Seminar tent:

Palace Sports & Entertainment’s new “Pistons Maplewood Barbeque” Food Truck, serving the house smoked barbecue from its own 4-feet-wide by 6-feet-long smoker, will serve a wide assortment of brisket, ribs, chicken, hot links, sausages, sandwiches and sides. The Andiamo Food Truck will also be on site to offer Italian food favorites like calamari, sausage and peppers and pasta with meatballs, and the Chick A Dee Food Truck will offer signature hand battered chicken on a stick, chicken tenders and hand dipped chicken corn dogs. Kroger will be offering free food samples in their tent.
Wine & Food Festival organizers are also excited to provide live entertainment on the Meadow Brook grounds with Acoustic Madness performing on Saturday, August 22 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. and 4 – 5 p.m., and acoustic guitar player Mark Reitenga performing on Saturday, August 22 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. and 7 – 8 p.m. and the Shahida Nurullah Quartet on Sunday, August 23 from 2 – 3 p.m. and 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Pinot’s Palette from Rochester Hills will be on site to give tutorials and will allow guests to paint on canvas.
