Chance the Rapper had a huge 2016, and 2017 looks to be even bigger! The Multi-Grammy Award-winning, Chicago superstar just announced he will be embarking on his first ever arena headlining tour, including a date at The Palace on Thursday, May 18 at 8 p.m. King Louie and DJ Oreo will open the show.

The 23-year-old Chicago rapper won his first three Grammy Awards Sunday night, including Best New Artist and Best Rap Album for his third and latest mixtape, Coloring Book. He also won for Best Rap Performance for the single “No Problem,” featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. He received seven nominations in total.
Coloring Book was released in May 2016 and debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, becoming the first streaming-exclusive album to ever do so with over 57 million streams its first week. The mixtape featured guest appearances from Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Future. The Grammy-winning single, “No Problem,” was a Top 50 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and reached No. 5 on the Billboard Rhythmic chart.
Chance the Rapper’s debut mixtape, 10 Day, was released in April 2012. Twelve months later he began to gain national recognition following the release of his second mixtape, Acid Rap, which received over one million downloads. The mixtape reached No. 26 on the Heatseekers Albums chart and was nominated for Best Mixtape at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards.
