Heavy Metal Thunder

Heavy metal thunder has ruled at Pine Knob since the 70s, often in the form of multi-act traveling tours such as Ozzy Osbourne's OZZFest, the Mayhem and Uproar festivals, Megadeth's Gigantour, Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution and the Family Values Tour. Slipknot started on OZZFest's second stage in 1999 and now brings its own Knotfest to the theater on a regular basis. It's been nothin' but a good time for Poison during its 14 concerts. And Van Halen rocked Pine Knob with all three of its frontmen – David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar and Gary Cherone – at different times.
